~Hopeless Romantic Soldered Necklace~

I love this image. She looks as if she is daydreaming. I soldered this piece and then added a little filigree piece of metal to the corner of the image.
I think she looks like a hopeless romantic, don't you think?

"How Do I Love Thee?" Collage

This collage is approximately 7 3/4 inches by 8 3/4 inches. Beautiful teals and browns used are very pleasing to the eye.
I used lots of embellishments on this collage.  The metal piece with the cupid on it was perfect for this piece.
A brass hand holding a wonderful vintage key with a button and brown pearls added to it. A lovely heart-shaped faux lock with a little key hole.
Beautiful embroidered teal colored flowers with brown sequins and beads.
It looks as if the image of the girl is pondering these words..."How do I love thee?"

Thank you for looking!

"Rejoice" Domino Ornament

I just love the retro image on this domino! I have a soft spot for snowmen anyway. And isn't he cute?

I had to add some bling on the other side! It will look great under the Christmas lights.

Mary and Jesus Domino Ornament

This domino ornament is trimmed with stickles for added sparkle which will really sparkle under the Christmas lights on the tree. I painted the sides and back with alcohol ink and added some vintage pearls and a little bow and gold tinsel ribbon.
Some bling on the back of the domino which will look very pretty under the tree too.

Righteous Collage~

This collage is approximately 9 x 16 1/2. The beautiful 1800's fabric that I used for the background of this collage is from France.
I placed a pretty cameo that is surrounded by pearls and rhinestones on a vintage wooden hanger.
I added the definition of the word "righteous" below the image of the woman.
This watch belonged to my mother. I removed the insides of it and added a photo of a young girl as if this might be a photo of the elderly woman on the collage. I hung a cross at the bottom of the watch. And added pearls all the way around the watch. I also sewed pearls here and there all over the collage itself.

This pretty vintage eyelet collar that I found, was cut down to fit the hanger. Then added vintage creamy pale peach rosebuds to the front of the collar.
I copied this photo of this lady onto heavy cotton fabric.
I thought this scripture very fitting for the image that I used for this collage. I wish I was brave enough to let my hair grow gray!
This cameo pin goes nicely with the one that is at the top of this collage.

Thank you for stopping by, my friends.

~Under His Wings~

This is my "He will cover with His Wings" canvas. It is 6x12. I used rusted pieces to create this piece.  The bird represents the Lord and the frozen Charlette is representative of the human race. I thought the scripture Psalms 91:4 was so fitting for this piece.

The frozen Charlotte (us) is being protected by the bird (Lord).
I added a branch with some rusted wire wrapped around it and a rusted leaf with the word "believe" added to it.
And then the words, "He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge."
